About The Role
This is an Infrastructure Engineer position on the CrowdStrike Services Delivery Operations team. Infrastructure engineers work to collaboratively support consultants to enable incident response and forensics analysis. Infrastructure Engineers are key contributors in the consulting team’s ability to analyze evidence in a stable and sound environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Linux virtual machine templates, help manage virtualized forensic lab infrastructure
  • Respond to consultant support request tickets
  • Participate in Team discussions for system improvements and assist with planning future upgrades
  • Maintain, manage, and upgrade forensic lab systems
  • Help improve internal processes and support task documentation
What You’ll Need
  • Windows and Linux system administration experience
  • VMware vSphere and Horizon administration experience
  • Familiarity with Windows Active Directory Group Policy
  • Familiarity with networking principles
  • Authoring and debugging Python and PowerShell scripts
Bonus Points
  • Experience using forensic image collections tools
  • Understanding of Chain of Custody and digital evidence lifecycle
  • Experience using AWS services like S3, EC2, SQS, and IAM
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch or Splunk
  • Experience with using GIT
  • Experience working with infrastructure as code like Terraform
  • Experience with JAMF and MAC OS administration
  • Experience building VMware vRA blueprints and workflows

About You
You are an empathic engineer who believes that the value of a software product is held in the utility of that product to the customer and its users.
You have many of the following technical skills and experiences:
  • Professional experience with at least one of the following programming languages, Golang, Python, and JavaScript
  • Comfort and experience working within the constraints of existing software applications and architectures
  • Linux programming fundamentals - Unix Shell Scripting and Automation
  • Experience with distributed and scalable systems
  • Experience with cloud native technologies
You have some of the following soft skills too
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
